Matthew and Ted doing some early morning reading. (This lasted approximately 30 seconds.)
Dad and Uncle Lee made a DIY fire in the charcoal grill.
The Fishermen.
Ted, Matthew, Tripp, Alex & Jett
Ted doing the "Flying Squirrel" off the high dive. One day he did a front flip into a belly flop (accidentally) that everyone missed. It was such a bummer.

We took up a large chunk of the beach.
My parents cabin on the left . Our cabin on the right.
Post Bike Ride
Dinners on the deck.
Evening hang outs
Sophie painting Remy's teeny toes.
Ted did a major hike with my mom one morning. 4 miles - 2 miles up, 2 miles back down. Total champ with not an ounce of whining.
The summit.
Tripp & Sophie on a special night for kids at the ampitheatre on the island.
Card playing on a rainy day.
Collecting sticks for a campfire.
And then hauling them down the hill to the bottom set of cabins.
Back to the DIY fire in the grill. Why not roast some marshmellows?
Apples to Apples. A family fave.
Learning the game of Life and Clue.
Brandi braiding Sophie's hair. I was supposed to be learning but that gets a little painful sometimes.
We took a LONG paddle boat ride one afternoon. The kids jumped in the lake and switched boats about a gazillion times. The loosing boat was always the one with the littles in it.
Paddle boat gang.
The shade shack incident!
Ben and Chad had a coffee date one morning. They made Turkish Coffee and made some of Ben's fancy coffee. The girls had mimosa's. Much better in my opinion.
Sophie being a bat in the hammock.
There was a craft fair on the last weekend. The kids got to do this jumpy ride thing.
Last day on the beach.
Our cabin in the woods.
My parents' cabin next door.
The Georgia Sliders and their gaggle of kids lived in the 3 cabins up the hill from us.
Thanks Grandma and Gary Pap for a great week!
Till next time, Hungry Mother!
